FAQ#7001828: Error during installation of assembly Microsoft.MSXML2R

Problem:

During the installation of “KOMPAS-3D” appears an error message: “Error during installation of assembly Microsoft.MSXML2R,version=…”. Installation is interrupted.

Solution:

You need to install/reinstall the MSXML component. Then run the installation of “KOMPAS-3D” again.

You’ll also need to reinstall Microsoft .NET Framework, using the repair tool by following the link(Download Microsoft .NET Framework Repair Tool from Official Microsoft Download Center)
